It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Jean Leifert of Torrington, Connecticut, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Lucille may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lucille touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Raynor and Josephine Raynor (Delagrange). She is survived by: her brother Donald Raynor; her husband Herman Leifert; and her children, Susan Petrovits (Lawrence), Jay Ducci, Sharon Ducci, Deborah Pavlik (Mark), Lance Leifert (Lisa Ferris) and Darrell Leifert. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
