She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvaro Hoyos and Ines Alvarez; and her brother Harold Hoyos. She is survived by: her husband Stephen E. Kendall; her children, Diana Arias of Canton, Leonard Kendall of Cincinnati, OH and Jeffrey Kendall of Torrington; her siblings, Carlos Hoyos (Nelly), Clara Castano (Francis) and Luz Matlin (Brian); and her grandchildren, Alexia, Ava and Rocco Moore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
