She is survived by: her spouse Thomas McGowan; her parents, Frank Mercier of Waterbury and Patricia Mercier (Waitkus) of Waterbury; her children, Thomas McGowan, Jr, Brendan McGowan and Cierra McGowan of Torrington; her brother Thaddeus Mercier of Waterbury; and her mother-in-law Lucille McGowan of Torrington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
