She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Söhnel and Rudolfine Söhnel; her husband Jim; and her sisters, Anna and Brunhilde.

She is survived by: her children, Andreas A. "Andy" Constable (Sue) of Barrington, RI, James D. Constable Jr. (Sherri) of Tifton, GA, Robert Constable of Keene, NH and Patricia "Patty" Bailly (Roger) of Toccoa, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
