Geneva Bitting Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2024, at the age of 86, Geneva Bitting of Torrington, Connecticut, born in Bells, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud McKnight and Alexis McKnight (Martin); her daughter Vera Alexine Spears; her siblings, Rosetta Edwards, Rachel Pete, Marshall McKnight and Eugene McKnight; and her grandson Tyreece Arnez Bitting.
She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Pate (Kimberly) of Sarasota, FL, Anthony Bitting (Michele) of New Haven and Brenda Johnson (Kevin Johnson) of Torrington. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
