He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pekrul and Marion Rehm Pekrul; his brother Tommy Pekrul; and his stepparents, Barbara and Martin Nettleton of Harwinton.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Pataky (Michael Cogan), Ivy Brenker-Brochu (Joe), Bryan (Becky) and Abby Tomlinson (Rick); his grandchildren, Charlie, Tommy Pataky, Adelaide, Graeme Tomlinson, Palmer and Sawyer Pekrul; his wife Diane Pekrul; and his sister Debbie Vincent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to any of the following local youth sports programs: American Legion P38 Baseball, Torrington Little League, or PAL Basketball.
