Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donna Grace Kocot of Torrington, Connecticut, born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 75, on October 28, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donato Pellegrino (Tony) and Rachel Pellegrino; and her brother Sgt. John P. Pellegrino. She is survived by: her husband Thadeus Kocot Jr.; her children, Christopher Kocot (Diane), John Kocot (Rosetta) and Stefanie Kocot-Bjorne (Wayne); her brother Anthony Pellegrino; and her grandchildren, John Jr., Gianna, Nicholas, Brennan and Isabella. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thurston Rowe Funeral Home (283 Torrington Rd, Litchfield, CT 06759). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Cemetery (25 Camp Ave, Darien, CT 06820).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Donna's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
