He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Carpenter and Betty Carpenter (Schweinfurth); and his sisters, Sharon Turner and Linda Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca (Thomas); his children, Zachary Carpenter (Eboni) of Torrington, Bethany Carpenter of Winchester, CT, Katie Breakell (Robby) of Winsted, CT and Sarah Baldwin (Bobby) of Winsted, CT; and his brothers, Daniel Carpenter of Rocky Mountain, NC and David Carpenter of Stratford, NJ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, his church family and many friends.
A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Forest View Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Baptist Church (7 Winsted Rd, Torrington, CT 06790).
