Diane Leslie Freer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2023, at the age of 76, Diane Leslie Freer in Torrington, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. Freer; her fiancé Ben Szmajlo; her parents, Sidney W. Rarick and Emma Rarick (Busse); her sister Sandra Humphrey; her brother-in-law George Humphrey, Jr.; her half-sister Ann Moore; her siblings-in-law, Frank Freer, Sr. and Sally Freer; and her pet Mickey.

She is survived by: her daughters, Doreen Kingston (Rusty) of Cheshire and Darlene Sawyer (Ed) of Torrington; her granddaughters, Ashlyn Perry of New York and Lindsay Sawyer of Torrington; her stepgrandchildren, Olivia, Ryan and Sean Kingston; her sister-in-law Marlene Tompkins of Texas; her pet Skippy; and her nephew George Humphry III (Jill). She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
