With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David A. Carey of Torrington, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis and Mary (Ryan); his brothers, John, James and Bryan Carey; and his nephew Jason Bradshaw.

He is survived by: his son David Ryan Carey of Southington; his wife Michelle; his sons, Charles and Henry; his sister Cathleen Bradshaw-White (William White) of Holden; his nephew Tyler Bradshaw (Emily); his great-nieces, Ella and Samantha; his sister Calista Black (John Black) of Canton; his nephews, Sean, Scott Rishar and Eric Carey; and his niece Jennifer Carey.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phalen Funeral Home (285 Migeon Ave, Torrington, CT 06790). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis Church (160 Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).
