He is survived by: his stepdaughter Kathryn Burger; his wife Sandra Gardiner (Turner); his brother Thomas Gardiner; his sister-in-law Anne Marie Gardiner; his nephew Matthew of Northvale, NJ.; his brother Douglas Gardiner of Cape Coral, FL; and his nieces, Kimberly and Katy Rose.
