It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Madeux of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Burnley P. Madeux; her brother Paul Colombie Jr.; and her parents, Paul Colombie and Mary Colombie. She is survived by: her children, Michele Madeux, Rebecca Madeux Staiger, Rachel Madeux Romano, Jessica Madeux and Martin Madeux; her grandchildren, Jason Staiger, Jonathan Staiger, Madeleine Romano and Nicholas Romano; her grandchildren-in-law, Melissa and Carlton Breiner; her grandchildren, Robert Russo and Julia Barnett; her great grandchild Madison Staiger; her sister Phyllis; her siblings-in-law, Robert Peters and Denise Colombie; and also, Stephen Beaudet, Joseph Romano, Arden Breiner and Windsor Breiner. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
