He is survived by: his children, Nancy Claire (Edward) of Haddonfield, NJ, Anthony Gioia, Jr. (Paula) of Torrington, CT, Jodie Gioia (Lisa) of Sacramento, CA, Paul Gioia (Kim) of New Fairfield, CT and David Gioia of Daytona, FL; his grandchildren, Adam, Mary Claire, Alex, Brad, Nicholas, Sam, Daniel, Ben, Michael, John and Jacob Gioia; his great grandchildren, Eloise and Owen; and his sisters, Rose Marie Jannsen of Torrington, CT, Lorraine Nedergaard of Maitland, FL and Lynn Hayes of Torrington, CT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
