It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna S. Michalowski of Torrington, Connecticut, born in Kent, Connecticut, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter H. Michalowski; and her parents, Alexander Hurrey and Mary Hurrey (Tirpak). She is survived by: her sons, Alexander W. Michalowski (Beverly) and Gerald H. Michalowski (Karen); her sister Urania Stolicny of Torrington; her sister-in-law Anna Knox of Litchfield; her grandchildren, Michelle Gallant (Joseph Gallant), Katrina Woods, Jeremy Michalowski, Brian Michalowski (Raul Acevedo) and Amy Michalowski; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Woods, Bryce and Lauren Gallant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
