It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas E. Pivonka of Tolland, Connecticut, born in Stafford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Lou Pivonka. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Pivonka; his children, BJ and Missy (Chris); and his sisters, Marion Varga and Carol Krupa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tom requested to donate his body to the Yale University Medical School, and asks family and friends to donate blood. If unable to donate blood, please donate to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 75 Francis St., Boston, MA 02115.
