He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Atwood and Yolande J. Atwood. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura J. Grassi (Nicholas Grassi) of Tolland and Erin L. Atwood; his grandchildren, Cadyn, Cooper and Carter Grassi; and his siblings, Sandra Dupre of Putnam, Geraldine Blanchette of Woodstock, Bruce Atwood of Eastford and Dale Froehlich of Woodstock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
