He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Trombly and Margaret Trombly (Kukuck); his wife Rosalie; his son Richard Trombly, Jr.; and his siblings, Walter, Albert Trombly, Dorothy Swiatkiewicz and Evelyn Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Amadio (David) of New Jersey and Sandra Ganoe (William) of Vernon, CT.; and his grandsons, Jason Trombly and Jacob Ganoe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and foster children.
