He was predeceased by: his fathers, Charles Atwater and Marshall; and his sister Frances Ruth Atwater. He is survived by: his wife Angela Atwater (Falcetta); his brother Phillip of East Hampton; his children, Cynthia Atwater of Ellington and Matthew Atwater (Maggie Downie) of Wethersfield; his grandson Joshua Atwater-Rec of Ellington; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Falcetta-Mills and Vincenzo Falcetta; his nieces, Francesca Morrell (Richard Cinque) and Catherine Albert (Ryan); his nephew Jason Falcetta (Paula); his great-nieces, Samantha Morrell and Amelia; his great-nephew Reid Albert; and his close friends, Heather Keaton (Whelton) of El Paso and Daniel Whelton of Manchester.
