He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Smith and Susan Smith (O'Hearon). He is survived by: his siblings, Jean, Albert, Donald, Robert and Alfred (Buddy); his son Michael Joseph; his wife Gloria; his children, Pamela (Charles) of West Hartford, Mark Smith of West Hartford, Karen Smith of Mechanic Falls, ME, Laurie (David) of New Milford, Catherine (Richard) of Willington, Jackie (Smith-Lowe) and Beth (Sean) of Tolland; his granddaughter Alyssa (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Abigail and Claire; his grandchildren, Kevin (Kiely) and Emelia (Jon); his great grandchild Liam; his granddaughter Nicole (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Harrison and Sophia; his grandchildren, Eric, Ashley Rose and Kelsey (Alan); his great grandchildren, Stella and Shea; his granddaughter Keri; his great grandchildren, Novalynn and Coral; his grandsons, Reilly (Katie), Gregory, Evan and Cole; his brother-in-law Stanley Steeves; and also Timmy. He is also survived by 7 children and their spouses, 12 grandchildren, and soon to be 10 great grandchildren.
