It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene M. Duval (Tolland, Connecticut), born in Saint Agatha, Maine, who passed away on August 29, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Bosse and Edna Bosse (Desrosiers); her siblings, Roger Bosse and Theresa Sedgely; and her granddaughter Melissa Hansen.

She is survived by: her husband Normand Duval of Tolland; her sister Marie Bosse (Jerry Coulter) of West Hartford; her stepchildren, John Duval of Tolland, Jackie McGrail (Dan) of Vernon, Audrey Carmody (Joe) of Coventry, Andrea Donaldson (Kyle) of Mt, Joseph Duval (Sue) of Tolland and James Duval (Mindy) of East Hartford; her granddaughter Elizabeth Collin; her stepgrandchildren, Melanie Donaldson, Amberelle McCarthy (Robert), Brandi Carmody, Sage Duval, Quinn Duval, Corey Donaldson, Jeremy Donaldson (Janelle), Joey Duval and Ryan McGrail; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chloe Donaldson and Sullivan McCarthy; and also, Russell Collin, Raymond Collin (Carmen) of Ellington, Lynne Hansen and John Flury of Hamburg.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to The Tolland Fire Department or the Tolland Senior Center.
