It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Farrell of Tolland, Connecticut, born in Presque Isle, Maine, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Farrell and Alma Farrell (Deveau); his daughter Sandra Austin; and his siblings, Kate Pellerin, Angie Dumais, John and Dan Farrell.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannine "Jenny" Farrell (Gagne); his sons, George Farrell Jr. (Norine) of Tolland, Joseph Farrell (Heather) of Stamford, Daniel Bureau (Jan) of Tolland and Raymond Bureau of Vermont; his grandchildren, Vincent, Lexy, Zach, Sophie Farrell, Jennifer Jones, Nick and Lindsey Austin; his great grandchildren, TJ and Abigail Jones; his son-in-law Jerry Austin of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his sisters, Sadie Belleveau of Texas, Anita Mathieu of Massachusetts, Louise Hikel of Massachusetts and Julia Gerow of Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
