He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Chessey (Pfeifer) and George S. Chessey, Sr.; his brother John Chessey; his son Roger Chessey, Sr.; his grandson Roger Chessey, Jr.; and his son-in-law David Buckley, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Ella Wright (Jeff) of Port St, Gregory Chessey, Sr. of Rockville, CT, Lynne Wearne (Richard) of Raymond, ME and Alice Buckley of Tolland, CT.; his sisters, Mary Morrow and Maureen Chessey of Tolland, CT.; and his great great grandchild Besides (Joan). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
