Edwin Evans Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2020, Edwin Evans of Tolland, Connecticut, born in Astoria, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Evans (Angosky) and Emil Evans (Ingeborg); his brother Richard; his parents-in-law, Elisabeth and Hans Schiffler; his sister Hildegard; and his brother-in-law Kurt Dargatz.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karin Cole and Heidi Bernardi (David); his grandchildren, Heather Avery (Austin), Jennifer Cole, Evan, Hannah, Alec and Noah Bernardi; his nieces and nephews, Ursula Lauper, Elke Sgarlata (Patrick), Wanda Skinner (Marc), Lisa Evans, Richard and Brian Evans; his sisters-in-law, Lori Kleef (Ronald) and Florence Evans; and his wife Ingeborg.

A celebration of his life will be held in September, pending Covid-19, date to be announced.
