He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucile Watson (Lassetter) and Robert Ernest Sr.; and his sister Grace Watson. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Rachel Watson (Sam Maxwell) and Robin Watson (Margalit Kaufman-Watson); and his siblings, Mary Watson and William Watson (Ida). He is also survived by many nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
