He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Loehr; his former wife Jeanette G. Loehr; his son Robert Loehr; and his siblings, Herman, Louise, Mary, William, Elizabeth and Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Jen; and his children, Joan Shusterman (Allan) of Stony Creek, NY, Bernard Loehr Jr. (Laurie) of Tolland and Donna DiUlio of Tolland. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, along with 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home (76 Prospect St, Vernon, CT 06066). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Church (25 St Bernard's Terrace, Vernon, CT 06066).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.
