She was predeceased by: her husband Norman F. Babbitt; her siblings, Edward Rice of New Bedford, Helen Miner of Putnam, Jane Nichols of Brimfield and Genevieve Beaudry of Southbridge; and her parents, James Rice Sr. and Genevieve Rice (Hodak).

She is survived by: her brothers, James A. Rice of North Grosvenordale and John J. Rice of Thompson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
