He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon LaPalme and Eva LaPalme (Houle). He is survived by: his wife Karen LaPalme (Place) of Thompson; his daughter Heidi Vala (Dennis) of Brookfield, CT; and his sisters, Claire Rice of Arizona, Loretta Joly of Putnam, CT and Cecile Favreau of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
