She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Bertnagel and Bertha Bertnagel (Maske). She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Wendy) of Thomaston, Allison Smith-Steeves (Jeff) of Thomaston and Valerie Smith (Michael Zebrowski) of Thomaston; her son-in-law David Scougall; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Alex, Stephen, Darianna, Alexander, William and Emaline.
