He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Rieley and Selina Rieley; his children, Thomas W. Rieley, Jr. and Deborah Lynn Harper; and his grandson Thomas R. Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Joan R. Rieley (Grohoski); and his children, John P. Rieley of Thomaston, Dennis P. Rieley of Thomaston, Joseph M. Rieley of Terryville, Daniel P. Rieley of Thomaston, Joan R. Brown (Rick) of Niantic, Patricia A. Rieley of Waterbury, Kathy A. Hanack (Jim) and Amy L. Philipps (John) of Bristol. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
