He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tanski and Mary Tanski (Lysakowski); his wife Stella Tanski; and his siblings, Helen Kohanski and Irv Tanski.
He is survived by: his son Paul of Thomaston; his great grandchildren, Leah DelMastro, Joshua and Matthew Rindfleisch; and his sister Henrietta Krulikowski of Naugatuck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
