He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Petke (DaMotta); his parents, Raymond A. Petke and Dorothy Petke (Sherwin); his son James Petke; and his sisters, Dorothy Fox and Catherine Danaher.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Petke, Raymond Petke, Sue Ellen Angell of Torrington, Dorothy Johnson, Nicki Remeika of Cromwell and Kristi Rollins of Torrington; and his brother David Petke. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
