She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Smalley and Caroline Smalley (Katon); and her children, Terry Duffy (Peg) of Thomaston, Lester C. Duffy, Jr (Tina) of Morris, Kurt A. Duffy (Rhonda) of Thomaston, Joan Lumbard Knox (Dan) of Thomaston and Alan L. Duffy. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
