She was predeceased by : her husband James Macdonald; and her sisters, Dorothy and Mary. She is survived by : her children, Jim (Cheryl), Martha (Steve), Tom (Corinne), Andrew (Diane) and Margaret (Paul); and her brother Eddie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lyons Funeral Home (46 High St, Thomaston, CT 06787). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Thomas Church (1 E Main St, Thomaston, CT 06787). A committal service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (1 Marine St, Thomaston, CT 06787).
