As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Margaret may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard J. Malahan and Ena D. Malahan of Torrington; her husband Carl E. Borger; her boyfriend Henry Klosowski; and her sister Maureen Aronson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen O'Connor (Kevin O'Connor) of Buffalo, NY, Karen Packtor (Joseph Packtor) of Haddam, CT and Kathleen Sayre (Kevin Sayre) of Fort Worth, TX; her niece Margaret LaBelle (Christopher LaBelle) of Middlebury, CT; and her brother-in-law Richard Aronson of Danbury. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and a great niece and great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to two institutions that had special meaning for her: Memorial Sloan Kettering (NYC) or Roswell Park Cancer Center (Buffalo, NY).
