With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurence A. Gelati Jr. of Thomaston, Connecticut, born in Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence A. Sr. Gelati and Sylvia Gelati (Auletta); his son Robert Overton; and his sisters, Laurie Gelati-Armell and Cynthia Gelati.

He is survived by: his wife Karen A. Gelati (Overton) of Thomaston; his daughters, Kristina Nield (Dylan) of Watertown, Jennifer Walcott of Thomaston and Lauren Gelati of Thomaston; his brother John Gelati of Middlebury; and his grandchildren, Zachary Overton, Gavin, Harper Nield and Katelyn Loggins. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and a countless amount of friends.
