It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julianna Alessio (Thomaston, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Domenic Crocetto and Carmela Crocetto (Aufiero); and her siblings, Sonny, Anthony, Francis Crocetto and Angie Gagain-Rosato (Dolly).
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Alessio; her children, Joanie Eykelhoff (Richard) of Thomaston, Janet Alessio of Thomaston and James Alessio of Torrington; her grandchildren, Justin Eykelhoff (Catie), Andrew Eykelhoff (Gail), Natalie Gelada (Francis) and Thomas Carroll; her great grandchildren, Marshall and Dean; her sisters, Loretta Calabrese of Southbury and Jeanette Crocetto of Waterbury; and her sister-in-law Jean Crocetto of Wolcott. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
