He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph F. and Margaret Wassong, Sr. (Hayes); his children, Joseph F. Wassong, IV of Cambridge, MA, John F. Wassong (Tina) of Corpus Christi, TX and Jean Wassong Lynch (Paul) of Malverne, NY; his stepdaughters, Kathryn Borgatti (Dan Evans) of Brooklyn, NY and Rachel Borgatti (Tristan McNamara) of Montpelier, VT; and his stepgrandchildren, Cassidy, Lyra McNamara, Jennifer Tipton and Sonny Mayes.
