With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jill M. Rosa of Thomaston, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 85. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jill shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jill farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard D. Rosa; her parents, William F. Sr. Coss and Gertrude Coss (Meredith); and her daughter Ann R. Balducci. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Mascetti (Michael) of Torrington and Jill L. Pellegrino of Thomaston; and her siblings, William F. Coss, Jr. of Waterbury and Virginia Hawley of Waterbury. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lyons Funeral Home (46 High St, Thomaston, CT 06787). A prayer will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
