He is survived by: his children, Karen Alexander, Janice Alexander, Jay Alexander, Patrick Crean and Kathleen Nicholson (Edward); his sister Nora Patricia Doster of Iowa; and his grandson Ethan Nicholson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
