It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Edward Laplante of Thomaston, Connecticut, born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Laplante and Faith Laplante (Buffum); and his siblings, Lorin Laplante, Donna Smith and Frances Laplante.
He is survived by: his wife Rogene Laplante; his children, John H. Laplante (Maureen) of Thomaston, Gregory P. Laplante (Rebecca) of Terryville, Dennis J. Laplante (April) of Thomaston and Barbara F. Hanley (Edward) of Winsted; and his sisters, Mary Howe of South Carolina and Ruth Kelly of Massachusetts. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
