She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Whittaker; her parents, Douglas Thistle and Anna Thistle (Dumschott); her brother Harold; and her sister-in-law Lenore Thistle.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law John; her daughters, Cheryl Whittaker and June Gagnon (Whittaker); her grandchildren, Melanie and Stephen Gagnon; her great grandchild Nicolette Gagnon; and her sister Jayne Marsden (John). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
