She was predeceased by: her spouse Chalmus Stephens (Steve); her parents, Catherine Ruggie (Lis) and Ernest Ruggie; her daughter Cassie; and her grandson Vinnie.
She is survived by: her son Dean Stephens (Jennifer) of San Francisco; her son-in-law Craig Duncan of Calhoun, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Michael Duncan, Parker, Logan, Amanda Duncan, Maria Stephens and Gabriel Stephens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Thomaston Public Library or the Friends of the Thomaston Opera House.
