With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Alessio of Thomaston, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Julianna Alessio (Crocetto); his parents, Patsy Alessio and Nancy Alessio (DiLeo); and his siblings, Ralph Alessio and Vita Pisciotti.
He is survived by: his children, Joanie Eykelhoff (Richard) of Thomaston, Janet Alessio of Thomaston and James Alessio of Torrington; his grandchildren, Justin Eykelhoff (Catie), Andrew Eykelhoff (Gail), Natalie Gelada (Francis) and Thomas Carroll; and his great grandchildren, Marshall and Dean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
