We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2022, at the age of 92, Claire H. Makl (Thomaston, Connecticut), born in Stamford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George N. Makl; her parents, George Eilertsen and Veronica Eilertsen (Williams); her son-in-law Jim Aniki; her niece Linda Makl; and her cousins, John and Valerie.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Carrington (Bob) of Northfield, Diane Aniki of Thomaston, David Makl (Debbie) of Southbury and Doree Lecaros (Cesar) of Waterbury; her grandchildren, George Aniki (Jami), Joseph Aniki (Sarah), Douglas Makl, Eva, Daniel and Milena Familia; her great grandchild Mary Lee Aniki; her stepgrandchildren, Tricia Cianci and Zandra Thompson; and her caregivers, Barbara, Georgette and Claire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thomaston Senior Center, Thomaston, CT.
