He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Welch and Audrey Welch (Garrett); and his daughter Laurie B. Wenzloff. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Welch (Terry); his daughter Kristin L. Begin (John) of Torrington; his brother Bruce A. Welch; and his grandson John.
