It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin H. Szmajlo of Thomaston, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szmajlo and Mary Szmajlo (Golebieski); and his brother Henry Szmajlo. He is survived by: his children, Jason Szmajlo (Michelle) of Bethlehem and Melissa McInvale (Christopher) of Middlefield; his sister Leada Rinaldi of Oakville; his grandchildren, Zachary Szmajlo, Alexandra McInvale and Seth McInvale; his nieces, Cheryl Beliveau and Mary Fisher; his nephew Francis Rinaldi; his great-nephews, Thomas and Charles Beliveau; and his pet Skippy.
