With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Lowell (Thomaston, Connecticut), born in Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on November 28, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis Lowell; her parents, Victor J. Lutz and Catherine F. Lutz (Gruhuskas); her brother Raymond Lutz; and her daughter-in-law April Lowell.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher P. Lowell (Elizabeth), Daniel F. Lowell (Bridget) and Dawn M. Plourde (John); her grandchildren, Mark Plourde (Victoria), Timothy Plourde (Shoko), Daniel Lowell II, Alexandria Lowell, Meghan Plourde and Ryan Lowell; her great grandchild Rei Plourde; her siblings, Victor Lutz (Rebecca), George Lutz (Katherine), Margaret Watson, Judy Benedict (Tom), Cathy Torsiello (Mike) and Elaine Harrison (Bruce); and her sister-in-law Eleanor Lowell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to one of her favorite charities St Judes or Toys for Tots.
