He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew McDermott and Marie McDermott (Sabia); and his sister Patricia McDermott. He is survived by: his daughter Courtney McDermott (Timothy Caulder); his close friend Gina McDermott; his niece Kathleen Bowen; his nephew Christopher Bowen; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Bowen and Joseph Bowen. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
