It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Wartonick of Terryville, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Wartonick; her parents, Vernon Atwood and Anna Atwood (Smail); and her brother George Atwood. She is survived by: her children, George Wartonick (Debbie) of Terryville, James Wartonick of Bristol, Deborah Wartonick of Terryville and Lori Wartonick of South Windsor; her grandchildren, Nick Wartonick (Sara), James Wartonick and Katie Pepe (Steve); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Aiden Wartonick, Mason and Morgan Pepe; and her sister Joan Gangloff (William) of Harwinton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Terryville Congregational Church Book of Remembrance Fund.
