He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Smith (McFarland); and his parents, Leo Thomas Smith, Sr. and Anna Smith (Starchak). He is survived by: his sons, Ben Smith of Bolton and Andrew Smith (Susan White) of Torrington. He is also survived by many family members from his wife.
